Will O' Sullivan, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Meet Will, the new intern on staff here to provide quality therapy at an affordable rate. I hired Will to the practice because it is obvious to me that we are in the middle of a mental health epidemic and yet not everyone has access to health care insurance, or a provider in their area that takes their insurance. Now more than ever, we need to address the effects of mental health struggles on our health, our families, and our community.
Will will be seeing clients at a fee based on a sliding scale derived from your household's income with a few slots available as low as $30 per session (with rates up to $90 per session). A little bit about what it would be like to work with Will:
Will is a registered mental health counselor intern which means that he has received his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has one year of internship under his belt. He works under regular supervision and is upheld to the same ethical and legal standards of all licensed therapists. All therapists in the state of Florida must complete 3000 post-graduate face to face hours with clients prior to sitting for the licensing exam.
Will leverages your unique strengths and experiences through the means of talk therapy to help you effectively navigate life’s challenges. He aims to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, find your own answers, and make adjustments that builds healthy balance and positive change in your life. Throughout the therapeutic process you will uncover and utilize tools and resources to optimize your quality of life.
Will is a United States Air Force veteran having served over 20 years as an officer on active duty. Will works with individuals who are willing to invest in themselves and the process that leads to lasting beneficial change with a special interest in serving veterans and veteran family members.
